Meet Simone E. Martin
Author, educator, speaker, and former financial services regulator with a passion for equipping compliance professionals to lead with confidence.
Simone Martin is an approachable and unconventional regulator, educator, and published author with more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry. Beginning her regulatory career in 2001, she has worked across fiduciary services, insurance, banking, and investment business across multiple jurisdictions.
She has contributed to meaningful legislative reform, conducted prudential and AML/CFT inspections, and delivered training to regulators and industry professionals locally and internationally. Simone has also led innovation-driven initiatives, including the creation of new regulatory frameworks for digital payment systems and other modern financial solutions.
Simone holds an MBA and a bachelorā€™s degree in Accounting, along with multiple professional designations from leading governance and compliance institutes. In 2021, she founded IGNUS Solutions Limited to empower compliance professionals and support the next generation of regulatory leaders.
